2nd generation iPod touch has a microphone stand, but that does not recognize the microphone on this but says that support for the iPod touch.

This was described as working on the iPod touch so you can have a microphone to use Skype. No way. . . . . do not waste your money. I bought 2 of these and did not work. They are cheap, but Apple only works with the Touch. I learned the hard way.

Listen with clarity when speaking and the sound quality is not bad. The headset is cheap. No function great, but is simple. If you get one if you want something expensive.
